FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Deposit & Payment Terms
20% of the contracted minimum is due with contract signing. 2-3 Deposits will be set and the final payment is due (7) business days before the Wedding Day. Group shall also provide a contingency deposit for additional items or services requested during the Event equal to 20% ("Contingency Deposit"), due on same date as the final deposit. The Contingency Deposit will be credited toward any additional amounts charged for additional items or services requested and provided during the Event, and if applicable, any other outstanding amounts owed by Group to Hotel. Any portion of the Contingency Deposit remaining after payment of such additional items and outstanding amounts will be refunded.
What is included with Event Space Rental?
The event space includes:
- Hotel Banquet Tables and Chairs
- House China, Flatware and Glassware
- Standard Hotel Linens (Ivory or Navy Blue)
- Standard Hotel Napkins (Ivory, Navy Blue, Dark Gray, Light Gray)
- Staging for Band and/or DJ
- Votives for tables
- 24 x 24 Dance Floor
Can I receive a group discount on a guestroom block?
Group discounts are available for 10 or more guestrooms. Courtesy Blocks are typically offered for 10 guestrooms with a signed contract. A Courtesy Block means that no minimum or deposit is required, and individuals would be responsible for all charges. Reservations are made either by providing a Rooming List or a through a special Booking Link that we can provide. For more than 10 rooms, a signed contract with Deposit, Cancellation and Attrition would be required. Included in the Wedding package is one (1) Junior Suite for the Newlyweds, night of the Wedding!
Do you allow Outside Catering?
Yes, we allow Outside Catering for cultural/ethnic food. A Per Person Outside Catering fee would apply towards the F&B minimum. We can recommend Outside Caterers if needed.
Do you work with any Preferred Vendors?
Yes, we have a Preferred Vendor list that our Event Planning Manager will provide. Vendors include caterers, event rentals, entertainment, florals, bakeries, audio/visual and much more!
Can your hotel accommodate both a Ceremony and Reception?
Yes, our flexible event space can accommodate both a Ceremony and Reception for up to 350 people. We also have space available for rehearsal dinners and brunches.
What is the Parking option at your hotel?
Valet Parking is the only option at our hotel. Rates are as follows:
- $30 - up to 2 hours
- $40 - up to 6 hours
- $50 - 6+ hours and overnight
There is a self-park option at the nearby International Terminal Parking Garage which is a short AirTrain ride over to our hotel.
Do you have someone at your hotel to help us with planning our event?
Absolutely! Our Event Planning Manager will be there throughout your wedding planning journey. The Event Planning Managers areas of expertise and coordination include:
- Setting up calendar timelines and reminders for when event details, final guarantees, and final payment are due
- Develop thorough Event Orders that communicate all the details of the event to the client/Wedding Coordinator and hotel staff
- Arrange a personalized menu tasting to help select the perfect menu for your wedding day
- Design the ideal floor plan for you to create your seating assignments
- Be there the day of your wedding to ensure all your vendors are in order and assist with placing out place cards and party favors, so you can relax and watch your dreams unfold
Do you provide a Wedding Cake?
We do not offer Wedding cakes, however we can recommend local bakeries who can provide beautiful and delicious cakes. A per person cake cutting fee would apply.

Timeline

Collaborative Diagramming
A collaborative program that helps you and your Event Manager design professional create customized room diagrams and seating to design the best room layouts for your event. You can make your own edits to diagrams to ensure room setups match your vision.
HyRes
Hyatt’s proprietary group reservation process with customized links to allow your guests to book online within the group block. It also gives you the ability to view reports through the Hyatt Planner Portal.
